We know how important it is that your document is corrected to the very highest standards. So that you can be more comfortable that your document is in good hands, here is some information about our team and our approach to quality control.
Rest assured that the right people are checking your document. All of our team members are, at least:
- A native English speaker
- Educated to degree level
- Expert in type of document (CV expert, Application expert, Academic expert etc)
- Fully trained in proofreading techniques
- Fully trained in the most up to date best practices
Many are also from a professional background (careers, academia, accountant, consultant, lawyer, engineer etc).
Furthermore, we have a year round quality moderation program to make sure all of our Correctors are keeping to high standards. (see below)
We strive to ingrain quality throughout our business. This means both the quality of our corrections and the quality of our service. These are overseen by:

David – Company Director
Background – David is an Economics & Business Graduate and is a fully qualified Chartered Accountant. He worked for one of “The Big 4” Professional Services firms and as a High-end Private Tutor in London before starting Succeed English.
Role – As Founder and Director, David oversees the whole business and makes sure things run smoothly.
It’s extremely important to me that Customers have a good experience with Succeed English. In my opinion, if we aren’t achieving that, then we don’t have a business. I monitor our turnaround times (from document submission to return) very closely and plan our resources to make sure we can always get customer’s documents back to them in good time.

Sam – Head of Quality
Background – Sam holds a Master’s Degree in English Literature and was an English Teacher before joining Succeed English.
Role – As Head of Quality, Sam leads the Correcting team. Checking the quality of their work and developing training programs.
I monitor the quality of the documents we are returning to customers by randomly selecting 10% of them from each corrector. I then read them through myself and check that the quality of the finished product meets our high standards, giving extra training where necessary. This means that not only do our correctors strive for high quality as part of our culture, but there is a hard, fixed quality control check that they have to continuously work towards.
